Double Your Chances In Upcoming My Tree, Our Tree Giveaway
Exciting news about My Tree, Our Tree, our community’s program to increase our urban canopy. Based on program feedback and participation, we will now be giving away twice as many this fall, that is a total of 1,000 trees. Additionally, to be more fair and equitable, we’ll shift to a lottery system to award tree recipients. That means instead of registering starting at a certain date, you’ll now have a full week to drop your name in the virtual hat and have your chances of winning a free tree doubled. Stay tuned for specific dates and lottery registration in next month’s BUD, Cary It Green, or visit carync.gov/MyTreeOurTree
